For most claims, events before 1 October 2026 retain three months minus one day; events on or after that date use six months minus one day. Scottish employment-contract claims change on 9 November 2026. Equal pay and statutory redundancy pay have separate six-month rules, and interim relief has a seven-day deadline. ACAS notification and certificate receipt can affect eligible filing deadlines; internal grievances and appeals do not pause them.
